Meet Tabatha Tarafa
Hey there! My name is Tabatha Tarafa | @Tabertures
My journey behind the lens started at my local ice rink. Before photography, I was a competitive figure skater, completely captivated by everything that made a performance an experience—the lights, the costumes, the energy of the crowd, and above all, the music! That fascination led me to pick up a camera and begin shooting for my rink's hockey team.
As life moved through college and into adulthood, I found my way back to photography through the music industry, where Tabertures (Tab + Apertures) was born! Being surrounded by artists and live events reignited the passion that first started at the rink and has continuously inspired my work ever since.
Today, my work is intimate, cinematic, and bold. Whether I'm photographing artists, live performances, brands, or people, my goal has always stayed the same: to create images that reflect the feelings these experiences give us.
